The short version

A plain-English summary. The full policy below is what legally applies.

You must take the course yourself. Someone else finishing it for you voids the certificate.
Course access lasts 24 months for the teen course and 12 months for the adult course, from the day you buy it.
For students under 18, a parent or guardian should buy the course and agree to these terms.
Finishing the course does not guarantee you pass a state test.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

1 Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and Wylie Driving School governing your use of our website and online courses.

By creating an account, purchasing a course, or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Wylie Driving School is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) as driver education provider C3430, and these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If you have a complaint we cannot resolve, you may contact TDLR at P.O. Box 12157, Austin, Texas 78711, 1-800-803-9202, www.tdlr.texas.gov.

2 Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. For students under 18, a parent or guardian should make the purchase and agree to these terms on the student’s behalf.

Provide accurate information. Completion records are official documents, and false information may void your certificate.
Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
One account per person. Accounts cannot be shared, sold, or transferred.

If you are under 18

Your parent or guardian is the account holder and agrees to these terms on your behalf. We may contact them about your progress and your certificate.

3 Enrollment and access

Enrollment gives you a personal, non-transferable license to access the course you purchased.

Some courses have minimum time requirements set by law. You cannot skip ahead or finish faster than the required time.

4 Certificates

Certificates are issued by our staff only after you complete the required parts of the course: Module One and the permit test for the teen learner license certificate (DE-964), and the whole course and final exam for the driver license certificate (DE-964 or ADE-1317).

5 Pricing and payment

All prices are in US dollars and may change. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, and payment is due in full at the time of purchase.

DPS license and permit fees are separate from our course fee and are paid to DPS.

6 Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7-day guarantee

Full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have completed
less than 6 hours of the course and no certificate has been issued.

7 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Record, copy, republish, or resell any course content
Share your login or let anyone else use your account
Have another person complete any part of a course for you
Use bots or scripts to progress through a course
Bypass timers, quizzes, or identity checks

Breaking these rules may result in suspension or termination without refund, and we may report it to the relevant regulator.
