Texas asks for all four before a full license. The $525 package covers the online course, your driving lessons and the paperwork check; the road test is booked separately.

The online course

All 24 classroom hours a Texas teen permit requires, done at your own pace on any device, with a certificate when you finish.

Paperwork checked

We look over your log sheet, certificates and control number before test day, so nothing gets sent back.

Behind the wheel

7 hours driving and 7 hours observing, across 7 sessions of 2 hours, with a licensed instructor in a dual-control car.

Your road test

Take your road test at our Wylie location, in a car and on roads you already know. Booked separately ($100).

What the months look like

A rough shape. Everyone moves at their own speed and there is no deadline.

Weeks 1–4 · The classroom

Work through the 24 online hours around school. Finish the first module and pass the permit test, and you can apply for your learner license.

Permit day

We tell you exactly what to take to DPS. Come back with the permit and we book your first drive.

Months 1–6 · In the car

Seven two-hour sessions with our instructor, booked around your schedule. Alongside them, 30 hours of supervised practice with a parent, including 10 at night.

Month 6 or later · Test day

Once you’re 16 and have held your learner license for at least 6 months, we check your paperwork and you take the road test here.

$525. It includes the 24-hour online classroom course and 7 driving lessons (7 hours driving, 7 hours observation). The road test is $100, booked separately.

There’s no adult package to buy online, but adults can combine our 6-hour online course ($50) with adult driving lessons ($450, 7 hours behind the wheel). Call us and we’ll set it up.

Yes, the full $525 is paid online at checkout, and the online course opens straight away.

At least 6 months. Texas requires teens to hold a learner license for 6 months, and to be 16, before the road test. The online classroom usually takes two to four weeks, and the driving sessions are booked around your schedule during those months.

That’s fine. Take the online course on its own ($70), or book driving lessons ($450) and the road test ($100) separately.

No. That is supervised practice with a parent or guardian and cannot be delegated. We will show you how to record it properly.
