Questions

How old do I need to be?

You can start the classroom course at 14. You can get your learner license at 15, and your provisional license at 16 after holding the learner license for 6 months.

When does the next class start?

New classes start regularly. Call (972) 442-6200 and we’ll give you the next start date and class times.

Do I take the permit test at DPS?

No. You take the permit test in class. Your DE-964 shows DPS it’s done, so you only take the vision test there.

What if I miss a class?
