Your Right to Opt Out
Residents of California and certain other states have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
Under these laws, “sale” and “sharing” are broader than exchanging data for money. They can include passing information to advertising or analytics partners in exchange for anything of value.
What We Do
We do not sell your personal information for money.
[Choose ONE of the two statements below and delete the other. Be accurate — this is the sentence regulators check first.]
Option A — if you run no advertising or analytics trackers:
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is nothing for you to opt out of, but you may still exercise your other privacy rights below.
Option B — if you use advertising pixels or analytics such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel:
We use analytics and advertising tools that may transfer certain identifiers, such as cookie IDs, IP addresses, and browsing activity, to our partners. Under California law this may be considered “sharing.” You can opt out using the methods below.
Categories of Information Involved
| Category | Examples | Shared with |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Cookie IDs, device IDs, IP address | Analytics and advertising partners |
| Internet activity | Pages viewed, links clicked, time on site | Analytics and advertising partners |
| Commercial information | Courses viewed or purchased | Advertising partners |
We do not share account details, course records, payment details, or any information belonging to a student under 18 for advertising purposes.
We Never Sell the Data of Minors
We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. We do not knowingly do so under any circumstances.
How to Opt Out
1. Cookie settings
Use the “Cookie settings” link in our footer and switch off Analytics and Advertising cookies. This is the fastest method and takes effect immediately on this device and browser.
2. Global Privacy Control
We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for that browser automatically.
3. Email us
Send a request to privacy@wyliedrivingschool.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.” Include:
- Your full name

4. Call us

Authorized Agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask for written proof of authorization and may ask you to confirm the agent’s authority directly.
What Happens Next
- We confirm receipt within 10 business days.
- We action the request within 15 business days of receiving it.
- Opt-out requests do not require identity verification, but we may ask for enough information to link the request to your data.
- An opt-out set through cookie settings applies to that browser only. Clearing cookies or using another device resets it.
No Discrimination
We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised this right.
Your Other Rights
You may also request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information. See the “Your Rights” section of our Privacy Policy.
